1 Assess, understanding the whole person
It starts with a confidential conversation, with you, and with your loved one when they're ready. Our psychiatrist conducts a complete psychiatric and addiction evaluation: medical history, substance use, mental state, family situation, and risk assessment.
- At home or at our clinic, whichever is safer and more comfortable
- Includes the family's observations (you see what doctors can't)
- Ends with a clear diagnosis and a written care plan, explained in plain language
Typical duration: 1–2 sessions. You'll leave with answers, not jargon.
2 Stabilize, safety first, always
If there is active addiction, withdrawal risk, psychosis or a safety concern, we stabilize first. Detox from alcohol or drugs is done under medical supervision, never "cold turkey" at home, which can be dangerous.
- Medically supervised detox with round-the-clock monitoring where needed
- Crisis stabilization for acute psychiatric episodes
- Home-based, outpatient or inpatient, based on clinical need, decided with you
Typical duration: days to 2–3 weeks, depending on the condition.
3 Treat, medicine and therapy, together
Once stable, real treatment begins: psychiatric medication carefully managed and adjusted, combined with structured psychotherapy. For addiction, this includes anti-craving medication and counselling; for mental illness, evidence-based therapy matched to the diagnosis.
- Regular psychiatrist reviews, medication is tuned, never "set and forget"
- Individual psychotherapy with clinical psychologists
- Honest progress updates to the family at every review
Typical duration: 6–12 weeks of active treatment, then ongoing review.
4 Rehabilitate, rebuilding daily life
Getting sober or stable is not the finish line, staying that way is. Rehabilitation rebuilds the structures of a normal day: sleep, routine, responsibility, purpose. This is where our program differs most from places that simply "keep" patients.
- Daily-routine and life-skills rebuilding, step by step
- Relapse-prevention training, recognizing triggers and early warning signs
- Gradual return of responsibility, matched to recovery
Typical duration: 2–3 months, overlapping with treatment.
5 Reintegrate, back to normal life
The goal was never just "treatment completed". It's your loved one back at work or studies, back at the dinner table, back in life. We plan reintegration deliberately, and we stay in touch long after, because recovery is protected by follow-up.
- Family counselling, healing the relationships strained along the way
- Return-to-work / return-to-studies planning
- Long-term aftercare: scheduled follow-ups and a direct line back to the care team
Aftercare continues for months, relapse risk drops sharply with structured follow-up.
The family walks every step too
At each of the five steps, you, the family, get counselling, honest updates and practical guidance. You'll never be left wondering what's happening behind a closed door. That's our promise, and it's why our program is built around the family rather than away from it.
One number. One care team. One plan, from the first call to normal life.
